The Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees celebrates the first release of BoKlok in the UK

The Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, spoke with Head of Marketing & Communications at BoKlok, Charlotta Herte, about our first residential development project in the United Kingdom. The project is located in the south of Bristol, where BoKlok are building 173 homes.

“It’s a piece of innovation, not just in the way the homes are built, but in the way that people get access to them.” says the Bristol Mayor.

BoKlok has a rather different way of selling homes to the usual residential developers. The difference lies in our left-to-live-on-analysis, in our key worker principle and in our open and honest sales process:

“It’s not who’s got the sharpest elbows, who can have the loudest voice or be quickest. You’re put into a pot of equals.” explains Marvin Rees.

The ballot for the first release of the two and three bedroom homes for BoKlok on the Brook in Bristol, closes on Monday 22nd of March.

“I sincerely hope, and I believe that people all over the UK and around the world will be looking at what we’ve done together here.” ends Marvin Rees.
